Terms Of Service

Late Arrival Policy: Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time to customize your massage and receive the full allotted time on the table. I regret that late arrivals will not receive an extension of scheduled massage time. The massage will end at the original scheduled time, regardless of client arrival time. If late arrival is inevitable, the session will be shortened in order to keep on schedule. No full or partial refunds will be given. In special cases, and when my schedule will allow, I may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at my discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of late arrival. 

Cancelation Policy: The full rate of the session will be charged for clients who "no show" or fail to cancel their appointment with at least 24 hours notice. If the massage is booked within 24 hours of the actual appointment, there is no cancellation and you will be charged the full session rate. 

Sales Policy: All sales of packages and gift certificates are final. No refunds or partial refunds will be given under any circumstance.

• I understand that massage therapy is provided for stress reduction, relaxation, relief from muscular tension, and improvement of circulation and energy flow.

• If I experience pain or discomfort during the session, I will immediately inform my therapist so that pressure/strokes can be adjusted to my level of comfort. I will not hold my therapist responsible for any pain or discomfort I experience during or after the session.

• I understand that the services offered today are not a substitute for medical care. I understand that my therapist is not qualified to perform spinal or skeletal adjustments, diagnose, prescribe, or treat physical or mental illness.

• I affirm that I have notified my therapist of all known medical conditions and injuries.

• I agree to inform the therapist of any changes in my health and medical condition. I understand that there shall be no liability on the therapist’s part should I forget to do so.

• I understand that massage is entirely therapeutic and non-sexual in nature.

• I understand that, because massage therapy work involves maintained touch and close physical proximity over an extended period of time, there may be an elevated risk of disease transmission, including COVID-19.

• I agree that I am not currently experiencing any of these symptoms:

• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Fever
• Chills
• Muscle pain
• Sore throat
• New loss of taste or smell
• Please note: Other less common symptoms have been reported, including gastrointestinal symptoms like nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.

• I agree that I have not:

• Tested positive for COVID-19
• Knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID-19
• Recently traveled to an area with a high infection rate
• Been in an area where social distancing was not properly observed
• Been to a nursing home

By attending my appointment, I hereby agree to all the terms of service listed above. I hereby waive and release Jose Angel De La Paz from any and all liability, past, present, and future relating to massage therapy and sacred healing.
